Re: Divine order , Era of Mortals, Week number 7
“O Creator! Thou who givest life to all things and hast made men that they may live, and multiply. Multiply also the fruits of the earth, the Práta and other food that thou hast made, that men may not suffer from hunger and misery.”
Random tile : 3923
A creation for every creature in this world
Race :Non Sentient - plant
Name: Práta, The Golden root
Appearance: The root varies depending on the ground, the temperature and the water. The plant changes colour, shape and taste depending on its growing process. It can grow long or round, light green, purple, blue, orange, pink or brown. It can grow up to 30cm long, and 15cm wide.
The plant above the ground:
Habitat: They can grow everywhere! They can grow on the frozen North, near an Oasis in the desert, Savanas , Tundras, Steppes, even in rocky ground with little soil or even in sand.
Reproduction:
Root:Every Práta root can grow 5-15 eyes. Cutting the root in pieces that each have an eye and then putting them into the ground is the only thing one needs to do. (If ther is not enough soil, the eyes should be kept in a bit of water until a root system starts to form. Then they can just be placed on a rock, and they will grab on it by themselves in a day or two). 40 days later (up to 90 if you like them large) they are ready for harvest. They grow during spring and autumn by themselves, but if cultivated they can produce all year long.
Stem: Every plant grows 15-20 Práta roots. If one stays attached, the plant will grow more roots and the stem will keep growing.
The eyes can be dried to be preserved for up to a full year. If soaked in a bit of water for a few days, they can be planted.
Traits:
Root:
The Práta needs little to no water. Sometimes even humidity can be enough for them to grow. This is due to to its ability to absorb humidity from the atmosphere through almost all parts of its body and distribute it.
Their roots have a strong acid that can corrode rock and thus grow even in rocky places. It can take the necessary ingredients from the rock it corrodes. Even volcanic rock can be very nutricious for this plant.
Its nutrients, again vary. The Práta root has a moderate amount of metals and vitamins by itself. Still, it contains so many and different nutrients that one can feed exclusively on it and have very few to no issues. Its unique characteristic is that it has the ability to absord great amount of nutrients from the soil (sand, rock) and produce different properties. Different ground will give a totally different result to its nutritional value. Though planting Práta can leave the ground empty of nutricion, if a small amount of the production or the remains of unwanted roots and stems is left in the ground to rot, the soil's balance returns to normal.
The Práta root, is an exceptional food for farm animals, though it needs to be even slightly cooked.
The Práta root is a starchy vegetable that can be cooked in many ways and is always tasty. In works extremely well with almost all meats, vegetables, dairy and oils. It can be dried, made into flour and get fermented without loosing its nutricional value.
It can produce a strong alcoholic beverage. It's not the best tasting amongst other beverages but it is easy to make and easy to drink and can be used as a base for other alcoholic beverages. Also, it can be used to preserve food.
Despite its nutritional value, the Práta, when consumed raw, it can cause serious gastrointestinal irritation. That is due to its glycoalkaloid content the plant uses to avoid being eaten by animals. When cooked, the small amount of this poison is destroyed.
The poison content is too small and poison production is quite unprofitable. On the contraty, in this small amount, this poison can be used as a very helpful medicine for various common diseases.
The intense colour that it produces depending on the soil, can be used to create colours, if the papareka skin is dried, poudered and mixed with light oils. Again, a tiring but simple procedure. Alchemical process can, of coure, provide more intense and durable colours.
The corrossive substance in the root hair, can be collected and used raw as a leather softener, as a cleaning product for metals (dirt and rust) and other everyday needs.
Plant:
Through a tiring but not difficult proccedure, one can create paper. The paper is thin and delicate. Through a very simple alchemical procedure the paper can be made to endure for years.
It can be dried and used to create rope, thin or thick. The thin rope can be used to create sandals and baskets or even boats safe enough for light load travelling in calm waters.

Re: Divine order , Era of Mortals, Week number 7
Create sentient race * 2
Tile: 1728
Name: Mystes
Appearance:
Mystes are a nomadic, war hungry people that at first sight could be confused for the opposite. While they seem like simple joes, these naturally strong individuals thrive on the battlefield, proving fight over fight that they are the strongest. They will always follow their strongest as the leader of their caravan.
Traits and flaws:
Humanoid: +20
Brave +1 , do not count on them to back down in a battle
Nomad +3, it's their way of living, home is the earth itself
warmonger +3, a fight? count them in!
Physical ability aptitude +2, they are born strong, they only get stronger.
Tracking +2, this is either their main way of getting meat or their weapon of choice when they do not have the numbers in a war.
No sense of fear -3, well, they love combat and wars, being afraid of death and stuff would only impede them.
Short tempered -2, they lose their patience in the sight of cowardice. They also do not like disrespectful mannerism.
Unfriendly -2, If you are not part of the caravan, it will be hard to be a friend
Territorial -2, while they do not have a territory of their own, whoever or whatever approaches their caravan, it must be killed, captured or interrogated
Eccentric pallete -2, they eat what they can catch with their tracking abilities and what they can gather from nearby trees. They will not succumb to the witchcraft that is advanced cooking. All they can tolerate is fire on their meat. No matter the meat. Even if the meat talked while it was still alive.
Avatar Creation:
Name: A
Tile: 1728
While people regard him as the Avatar, the true Avatar is the blade. The person holding the blade is the chieftain of the Mystes, the strongest of the strongest and the blade in a sense chooses him. What is special about the blade is that it slightly absorbs power and characteristics the more lives it takes. Once its bearer dies, it will pick the next strongest Mystes as its holder, thus making him chieftain, while keeping its power. It will not grant its powers to any other living being outside its race. In a sense, it is like a baton pass. While the blade remains intact, it will always seek power and devour anything alive. It goes without saying that the person holding the sword will never die a peaceful death, on their bed. It will always be on the battlefield. And the battlefield will always call them.

Tryed really hard not to comment on a spelling error and let it be... but since I was provoked and be the humorous arbiter "Isilo's Avatar" was renamed to "Isilo's Virous" on the map!
